Will FF Versus XIII go to X360?
There are chances. Let me explain the theory as to how and why Final Fantasy Versus XIII could appear to the Xbox 360. Whether Square-Enix announce it at a later date as a straight release or a timed exclusive on the Playstation 3, then makes it way to the 360 some time after, it could happen.
Why it could go to X360
As some of you know there is a connection between FFXIII and Versus. The only real connection is they’re all under one compilation (Fabula Nova Crystallis) that unites the games under one big theme. Not only that but both games take place in the same universe, but neither story conflicts with each other. Square-Enix probably still doesn’t know what to do yet and are most likely still thinking of ideas. The two stories may conflict in some way. If this is true and Versus doesn’t get a X360 release, are they screwed?
What if the rest of the story unfolds in Versus? What if you need to play Versus to find out what happened to so and so? There are many things that could lead into Versus.
Square-Enix went through bankruptcy when they release the Final Fantasy movie and they are still chasing the loses. This could make their minds up eventually. Also, if FFXIII sells well on X360, whats to stop them from releasing Versus?
Remember a year ago when Square-Enix were saying that FFXIII is a PS3 exclusive?
Why it won’t go to X360
The first one is that Tetsuya Nomura doesn’t want it to go to the X360. Why? Because he probably knows that the Playstation Fanbase will go against Square-Enix, he loves the PS3 and has no intention of making the game for the X360. Afterall, PS3 isn’t getting Start Ocean 4 or Infinite Undiscovery… yet.
They announced at E3 2008 that Versus is a PS3 exclusive.
If Versus went to the X360, what will the PS3 have in terms of exclusivity from Square-Enix? Ok, they are going to be announcing something shortly that is supposed to turn the favour back into Sony’s hands. it has to be a big announcement like a Final Fantasy VII remake.
Versus exclusivity at the moment
At this moment in time FFXIII Versus is a Playstation 3 exclusive. Do you think Versus could make an appearance on the Xbox 360?

Infinite Undiscovery is a Microsoft owned IP
One thing for sure is that Infinite Undiscovery WON”T EVER go multi-platform as it is being published by MGS.

LSDariuss, don’t worry, we will never hate Playstation. We were just pinpointing what could happen, not that it will happen.
It probably will go multi, along with SO4 but Infinite Undiscovery is a microsoft product, it would have been published by Microsoft but they let square handle it because they dont know how to push a JRPG, and Microsoft put money into it and everything.
i think it depends on how far ahead they are and how well they learn the ps3 architecture.
they said after the ffxiii announcement that versus is on a ps3 engine so no ports are being discussed.
but following that statement. that will be the last time they use that engine so in the future all final fantasy games will be multi.
also, they say that the ps3 only engine is the reason for versus being exclusive. but if they learn more about the ps3 they may figure out a way to port it to 360 by the time they finish it.
in the bigger picture of things, and i hate to say this, but since versus and xiii are part of the same world, its in SE’s best interest to port the entire mini saga.

Welcome to TalkPlayStation LordRaoh, i agree with the comments you’ve made, it will most likely get ported to the X360 eventually if the 360 fans complain to square or something.
Just a thought…it would actually be smart of Sony, if they have any control with their 9% share of SE, to release FF13 on 360 and leave Versus as a PS3 exclusive having people who play FF13 on 360 wanting more and having to get a PS3 for Versus.

I want all the gored-up bump & grind that versus seems to offer.
Releasing a game for one type of hardware is stupid and innificent…
At this point in time Versus 13 will remain as a PS3 exclusive. Since the game is about 20 – 30 percent complete it would be too much of a hassle to change the game so it would be available on the 360.
A few problems.
Square enix was addressing to the japanese market when they said that final fantasy XIII was exclusive.
And saying that nomura likes the playstation 3 and dislikes the xbox 360 is just misleading.
Okay, first leem sayt that Versus XIII as wll as Final Fantasy XIV (14 if thats right…) Are and note this plzz… PS3 EXSCLUSIVE…
360 is getting Final Fantasy XIII and thats it, its been confirmed. I hate 360…not because i dont like the system or Microsoft..but because we dont ever see any games come over from the 360. If Halo decided to come over to Ps3 (which it wont) There would be a lot of 360 fans bicthin left and right.
