Prototype got delayed until 2009 a month or two back and here’s why.
Prototype got delayed to 2009 because the developers wanted more time to make the game they really want to make. Basically they want to make the game a better game. There’s also a chance they could put multiplayer mode back in that was taken out during development a few months ago.
They have until 2009 so i think multiplayer will make it.

This is definitely the quote of the year. It’s really worth writing about since no other dev team ever said that to justify a delay… Usally, they say something more along the line of “we wanted to make people wait some more just for fun” or “we had loads of cash to spend on needless development”. You really brought us some worthy news there…
