Valve To Re-Evaluate PS3
Remember way back when Gabe Newell said he despises developing on the PS3? Then there’s this balancing act on whether or not Left 4 Dead is coming to PS3. Well Doug Lombardi just told CVG that developing on the PlayStation 3 is a possibility now.
“We’re always evaluating what’s happening in the marketplace and certainly something that’s happening in the last couple of months is that Sony’s managed to sell some boxes,” said Lombardi.
Lombardi says the PC will be their main choice of development, and the 360 being second. He also says that there is a 50-50 chance of Left 4 Dead coming to the PS3. They are in discussions, but don’t expect it to come out on the PS3 this year if they give the green light.

Personally, I couldn’t give a crap what Valve do. There are better devs already working on PS3, making better games than Valve could ever hope to turn out.
I never enjoyed Half Life on the PC, and I certainly don’t/won’t miss their games on the PS3.
