Updated: BioShock 2 in Fiscal 2009 on PS3, XBox 360

BioShock 2 is coming in fiscal year 2009, Take-Two’s earning statement confirms. Its release would be likely sometime next holiday season.

The report’s formatting had PS3, XBox 360 and PC initially next to BioShock 2 however, since then it has been revised with “TBA”. With BioShock coming soon to the PS3, the odds of whether BioShock 2 will be developed for both consoles are very worth betting on. It remains to be seen as to whether it will appear on XBox 360 first as a timed exclusive.

Also, Grand Theft Auto IV has sold over ten million copies worldwide as of August 16th states the report.

Carnival Games on Wii and DS - which combined have moved over two million units - are selling strong as well.

A fiscal launch for Borderlands on PS3, XBox 360 and the PC, as well as Superstars Wii NBA - the basketball version of MLB Superstars - are also notable items in the release.
