Resistance: Fall of Man wasn’t possible without the use of Blu Rays. The same applied for Resistance 2. Ted Price boss of Insomniac games has mentioned in an interview with GameDaily that Resistance 2 on a Blu-Ray disc is near the edge.
Yeah we’re right up to the edge. It’s bigger than the first Resistance but we haven’t reached the Blu-ray disc capacity.
Remember that Fall of Man ate up 22GB and Resistance 2 is more than double that in size. Remember there are 2 campaign modes and a massive online arena to play with, we’re not surprised this game took up so much space.
