A royal edition announced by Ubisoft
Play.com is getting better and more exclusive deals with developers lately. According to Eurogamer.net The upcoming Prince of Persia game will have a special pre-order edition.
The pack will include the following items:
Scratch card with unique code to unlock exclusive in-game skins for the Prince (Prince “Classic” skin) and Elika (”Farah” skin)

A small suprise from the land of Persia
Letting the gamers know they still have something up their sleeves, Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia will still be released this year. To be exact it will be out on December 2nd, 2008. Europe can expect it on December 4th.
The main character will be assisted by Elika, a female friend to fight Ahriman.

Far Cry 2 gets date in Europe

Tom Clancy’s HAWX has been delayed until 2009
For those waiting for Ubisoft’s attempt at a jet fighter game will be left dissapointed. The game was originally scheduled for a September release but has now been delayed until 2009. No reason was given for the delay.

Free Rainbow Six Vegas 2 downloadable content coming
Ubisoft have announced that an all new multiplayer content pack for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be available and released late July. This includes 3 new maps and a number of tweaks and fixes.

Altair won’t be returning this year according to this article. If you scroll half way down you can see that Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft North America states:
there’s no new “Assassin’s Creed” this year, despite its sales success. “When we bring it back, there will be more anticipation for it,”

Haze co-op update available
There is a new update for Haze. Basically this update “corrects the difficulties encountered when inviting people into the Co-op campaign.”
