Does this original Square-Enix project live up to expectations or is it destined to become a remnant.
The Last Remnant official website opens on the 18th of August 2008. Currently a timed Xbox 360 exclusive, it will eventually come to the Playstation 3. Check back to the website in 7 days.
The Last Remnant has been delayed for the Playstation 3 and Square Enix says this is mainly for development reasons.
In an interview with GameSpy, Square Enix responded to a question, questioning the PS3 version.
“Square Enix: This is mainly for development reasons. We’re developing the game using the middleware Unreal Engine, and the Unreal Engine has a slower development on the PS3 side. It was only really workable after Unreal Tournament was published, so this was mainly a development decision.”
The Last Remnant will eventually come so i guess we will have to play the other great PS3 games that are coming out this year.
A new trailer for The Last Remnant was released yesterday and here it is. Many Playstation 3 owners are fuming because The Last Remnant is coming out on the Xbox 360 first but rest assured is that Final Fantasy 13 and 13 Versus are STILL PS3 exclusive and those are the ones that matter to us most. So don’t worry about them. The Last Remnant will come to PS3.
