That’s the question Naughty Dog is asking through twitter.

Though we missed a special/collectors edition with Killzone 2, God of War III will definitely be getting one. Now the question remains if gamers value a 80 plus euro/pound/dollar edition, which usually included an art book and a behind the scene’s disc.

But is that all we want in a special edition? For me no. Example, Fallout 3. The lunch box and bobble head made the choice for my purchase. Grand Theft Auto 4 also had it with the bag, locker box and key chain.
Such special/collector edition make it worth getting.

But what can you include in a Uncharted edition? You tell us.

In a news letter from EA Games, they let know that by pre-ordering Dead Space you’ll be able to get your hands on one of the limited and exclusive Art books. It is written by the Development Team and also includes some illustrations.

available1 m Dead Space gets its own special edition
The book contains details on the creation from concept through production. You will also get 3D glasses for the special 3D art only viewable with the glasses.

Though it seems you will only be able to get this special edition when you pre-order it from the EA Store.

There is nothing on this on the official blog. But on the forum they are talking about it and it’s being priced a steep $150 . It will probably include:

  • The Dead Space game
  • Special Ultra Limited Edition packaging
  • Dead Space Downfall Animated Movie (DVD)
  • Bonus content DVD
  • Exclusive lithograph art
  • 97-pg Dead Space art book written and illustrated by the development team (What we where talking about)
  • 160-pg Graphic novel
  • Ishimura crew patch

And is named the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition.

Can somebody confirm this as I keep getting redirected to the Dutch EA Store which doesn’t have it.
