Siren Lounge in Home?Seems a few weeks ago the Japanese version of Home got a new lounge. This one is dedicated to Siren. We can’t tell you exactly what you can find in it, but we hope some of you can tell us.
Here we have 8 new screenshots of Siren Blood Curse, an upcoming survival horror game by Sony Japan. If you notice in the screenshots you will see that a new characters is revealed, a female character. We have posted release date information previously if you missed that click here.
8 new Siren Blood Curse screenshots
According to ps3bloggen.se they have received good information on Sony’s upcoming horror title, Siren Blood Curse’s release schedule.
Siren Blood Curse will be released in four instalments on the Playstation Store. It will have 12 chapters in total, three chapters per instalment. Currently there is no price information on how much these instalments will cost but i’m guessing that for all the chapters put together it will cost like a full game.
Anyway the planned instalment release dates are as follows:
- 17th of July 2008
- 24th of July 2008
- 31st of July 2008
- 7th of August

You will need to create a Japanese account to access that store and download the demo to give this game a go. It’s worth the hassle.

PSU have posted some new screenshots of Sony’s upcoming survival horro Siren: Blood Curse. Siren: Blood Curse AKA Siren New Translation is due to be released on the 24th of July 2008 in Japan and by the end of the year everywhere else.

Below is a scary looking gameplay trailer of Siren: Blood Curse. The whole music and sound effects make this horror title look to be a freaky and scary one. There seem to be a lot of horror titles coming including this, Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space.

You may have heard of Siren New Translation with some of our news covering Sony’s upcoming horror game. Siren for the Playstation 3 has received a new name which is Siren Blood Curse. We are not sure as to whether that name is for America and Europe with Japan keeping the ‘New Translation’ name but i’m sure the world will find out later on today when the Playstation Day even kicks off.

Below is a video of Siren: New Translation the demo that is currently on the Japanese Playstation Store. The graphics look awesome and reminds me of Uncharted Drake’s Fortune. If it plays like Uncharted then this game will be very, very good and a must buy to any Uncharted fans.
Nice animations, nice atmosphere and a good looking game all round.

Watched the trailer we posted earlier? Want to play a demo of Siren: New Translation? Well now you can on the 25th of April 2008. The demo will be released on the Japanese Playstation Store so if your in a differen’t country you will need to create a Japanese account to download. The demo will be 550 MB file size.
Remember the 25th of April if you want to give this survival horror a shot.

The mysterious count down appeared and is basically an announcement to announce a new PS3 exclusive which is Siren: New Translation. Siren, a stealth-based survival horror game that first appeared on the Playstation 2 in the year 2002. After Siren came Forbidden Siren 2, the second in the series that appeared again on the Playstation 2 in 2006.
And now, the third in the series, Siren: New Translation is due to come out on the Playstation 3 and a debut trailer has been released.

It looks very good and of course VERY scary!
There is a Mysterious count down on the Playstation Japan website. No one knew what it was until akayuki.com announced that Famitsu Magazine have scans of Siren – New Translation and basically said that Sony is going to announce Siren – New Translation as a new PS3 exclusive.
So what is Siren? It is a remake of the first Siren game and is set to be released 24th of July in Japan. No one knows the release date for U.S and Europe as of yet.
