The upcoming PS3 exclusive may possibly be in Rockstar’s 2010 lineup of games. In a Q&A about the 360’s second exclusive DLC, Ballad of Gay Tony, someone asked/pleaded that Rockstar show some love for the PlayStation brand.

PS3 PLEASE, dont forget that Grand Theft Auto originated on the Playstation system (PS1)” - anthonycr

We appreciate the enthusiasm of PlayStation 3 owners and believe us, we understand where you’re coming from.  That’s why we are working hard on a lineup of PlayStation 3 releases for 2010 that we know you will be very excited to play – including Red Dead RedemptionMax Payne 3, and the PlayStation 3 exclusive AGENT, which is a brand-new title from Rockstar North, the creators of the Grand Theft Auto series.  Plus there’s more yet to be announced…  Thanks again for your patience and please stay with us!

Think what you will, but if it does see the daylight next year, it probably on hit store shelves until late next year. Unless they’ve been keeping the game under wraps.

mncla Midnight Club: Los Angeles gets update

Rockstar Games let know that the latest instalment of Midnight Club has been given an update which is available as we speak.

The patch both for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 includes a fix to improved AI that dynamically adjusts to the user skill level. This is done after many reviewers pointed out the difficulty of the AI. We just hope that it doesn’t get made too easy now.

The 360 patch will also include extra leaderboards for tournaments which can be followed through Rockstar Games Social Club, an improved multiplayer match searching and “upgraded streaming and performance”. (Read less lag)

Despite having a record third-quarter financial Result, Rockstar announced some less great news that Midnight Club: LA would be delayed till October 21st in North America and October 24th in Europe.

Seems Take-Two is going to use this extra time to polish up the game and make try to make sure the game doesn’t get a back seat during this hectic game release schedule.

Team Bondi has posted a job opportunity on their website advertising for some animators. What’s special though is that they have asked for someone to join, in the FINAL production stage phase of L.A Noire. Could this mean the game is nearing completion and could be released sometime this year?

We’re looking to expand our Animation Team to cope with the final production phase of L.A. Noire. This includes the in-game cut-scenes, story cut-scenes, reviewing and cleaning up the animations for the in-game mechanics and supervising capture for the new facial animation technology which has been developed in conjunction with this project.

L.A Noire is developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar.
