This weeks update brings a lot of DLC content to Europe. Like the US, Europe has the Pain expansion which was delayed.

Our opinion is that Sony is still missing out on a lot of money due to not having released the Playstation Network Cards in Europe, even if it was on a small scale to help the profits in these bad economic times.

Here is the list anways:

Add-on Content

* PAIN David Hasselhoff add-on pack (£1.19/€1.49)
* PAIN Movie Studio add-on pack (£3.99/€4.99)
* Dead Space DLC (listed after the break)
* LittleBigPlanet DLC (listed after the break)
* Guitar Hero World Tour DLC (listed after the break)
* Rock Band DLC (listed after the break)
* 5x Soul Calibur IV equipment customization packs (£0.79 – £1.59/€0.99 – €1.99)
* Star Wars The Force Unleashed character pack 1 (£6.29/€7.99)
* Everybody’s Golf 5 character pack (£3.19/€3.99)
* Civilization Revolution “The Terrestrial” map pack (£0.79/€0.99)
* Civilization Revolution “Elemental” map pack (free)

Harmonix let know on there forum that a fix is on the way for the PAX pack which was released onto the Playstation store a couple of days ago.

It seems the issue was caused by the songs ‘Livin on the Corner of Dude’ and ‘Catastrophe’ (fitting title) by MC Frontalot.
People who downloaded these songs or the full pack including these could not play the content.

Harmonix have resubmitting the tracks to Sony and hope they fix up content on the PlayStation store as soon as possible. Users will then be able to replace the broken tracks by re-downloading this content for no additional charge. If you don’t feel like re-downloading this content and can wait a week, the title update that is launching on september 9th will fix it automatically.

Your probably wondering what this ‘title update’ is that will be on the Playstation Store this thursday.
It is an export feature which enables you to use songs from Rock Band 1 in Rock Band 2. It will also patch the use of the Guitar Hero III Les Paul PS3 Controller with RB1 on the PS3.

Rock Bands DLC broken
Posted on September 5th, 2008 at 5:02 PM by Ves

If you downloaded the PAX Pack DLC for Rock Band you might have encounter a problem, according to poster on the Rock Band forum the pack doesn’t work at all.

The person who brought this to light posted

I just downloaded the PAX pack on my PS3 and I can’t play the songs. They all show up in my setlists in the game, but everytime I select one of them to play it goes to the loading screen and gets “stuck”. It doesn’t seem like it is freezing though, because the little silhouettes of characters continuously move on the bottom of the screen without glitching or stopping. It just stays on the loading screen for a long time (I’ve waited about 3 min. before giving up). Is anyone else having this problem, or has had this problem in the past?

Harmonix has yet to issue a comment to this huge problem. Let’s hope they get a fix out quick. As Sonic_Snowman really wants to play Skullcrusher Mountain badly.
