Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty is now availabe and you can buy it off the Playstation Store. It is the 8th game in the series and is also the follow up to previous entry, Tools of Destruction. The Blu-Ray version will be release in September.

Here’s something for Europe. Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will hit the Playstation Network this Thursday in the weekly Store update. The price of the downloadable game will be £9.99, the price of the Blu-Ray version will also be priced at £9.99. The Blu-Ray version will be released on the 12th of September. The upcoming Playstation Network title, the follow up to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will be available shortly. Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will be released on the 21st of August 2008 on the PSN.
Those interested in the file size and wonering how long it will take to download, here’s a clue. The game is just over 2GB, 2.3GB to be exact. Just imagine downloading multiple demo’s from the store, it shouldn’t take much longer than that.
Mark down the 21st of August 2008. It is unknown whether it will be released on the European store at the same time as the US store.
Insomniac Games has announced that Ratchet & Clank Future will be released on the Playstation Store on the 21st of August 2008. The price will be $14.99 and i’m guessing around £9.99 for Europe.
Quest for Booty picks up after the events of Ratchet & Clank Future and will contain a lot more puzzle solving platform gameplay.
