We had not even send out email out for a while or VG247 already has an answer back.

It seems we don’t have to worry about ‘doing a Xbox Live’. Through SCEE, Kaz Hirai let the following know

SCE will further increase sales by offering users new entertainment through the combination of hardware, software, peripheral and PlayStation Network. Especially in the online area, we are studying the possibility of introducing a subscription model, offering premium content and services, in addition to the current free services

So under premium we can say Qore? MMO based subscriptions? Well as long as standard online play is free we don’t mind.

It sounds like competition for Qore in my ears but I’m probably wrong. Gametrailers TV will be coming to the PlayStation Video Store as the first video game TV show. They will show reviews, trailers and much more.

They’ll kick off their show with a visit to Sucker Punch studio, for the upcoming game inFAMOUS.

Check out the announcement for yourself after the break (more…)

If you are American and subscribed to the Qore service that Sony Computer Entertainment America provide, you will get the F.E.A.R 2 demo. Xbox 360 users will get the demo as normal.

No word on a European demo, it may or may not make it, most likely won’t. Nevermind, the game is due out very soon.

Sony has announced they will be releasing a MotorStorm Pacific Rift demo as part of Qore. Those who subscribe and download Qore episode 4 will get access to the demo and get to play a month before anyone else.

But what about the people in Europe who can’t download Qore? It appears that the demo will be released on the Playstation Network as a free download a week before the full version is released early october.

No specific date has been set for the demo but early September sounds good.

Posted on August 22nd, 2008 at 5:48 AM by Aerfox

I just got an e-mail from the PlayStation Underground. Coming in next months episode will be info on Little Big Planet, info on the new Prince of Persia, MotorStorm Pacific Rift and Bioshock info. Exclusive to Ep. 4 and annual subscribers, a demo of MotorStorm Pacific Rift will be available a full month early then the public. Also a Little Big Planet theme.

Qore Episode 4 will be released on September 4th, and is only available to US PSN users.

2w3stw0 Qore Episode 4 Sneak Peek

Posted on July 24th, 2008 at 9:31 AM by Talk Playstation

A TalkPlayStation.com user has sent in an email stating that they received a PS3 newsletter and there was a preview for Episode 3 of Qore.

Just received my PS3 Newsletter in my inbox, I noticed there was a Qore column and a preview for whats coming next month. I then noticed a Resistance 2 beta will be included with Episode 3.

Also, members over at on the US Playstation forums are saying the same thing and a picture is included.

r2 Qore episode 03 to have Resistance 2 beta invite

Posted on June 20th, 2008 at 11:36 AM by Talk Playstation

It seems like Europe is pretty much doomed as far as demo’s go simply because they cannot buy/download Qore, an interacting online program.

I mean, take a look at the upcoming episode 2:

Episode 2 on Qore

So what does this tell us? It says that there is an exclusive Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm demo available when you buy Qore episode 2. So how will the people in Europe be able to play this demo? They can’t.

Now for example, what if a Final Fantasy XIII demo was released in an episode of Qore? Europe will be screwed and obviously mad!

I hope Qore doesn’t hamper the demo’s on the Playstation Store especially for Europe.

The Official Socom website have announced that there will be a public beta happening. There are two ways of getting into the Beta, the first by radically different pre-order program.

“One will be through a radically different pre-order program (think ‘team’) the team is working on with one of our retailer friends.”

And the second way is through Qore. To find out more information on what Qore is, click here.

“The second option will be to go through Qore™: Presented by PLAYSTATION®Network, SCEA’s new interactive monthly program. It goes up for purchase and download on the PLAYSTATION®Store on June 5th.”
