Development will favour PS3 in 2009
The new president of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida says that third party development will favour the Playstation 3 next year. Yoshida spoke with GamesIndustry.biz admitting that the PS3’s launch was disappointing because third party developers had to build their games based upon the Xbox 360’s architecture as Microsoft’s hardware was released earlier.

According to massive online retailer, Amazon, the release date for Final Fantasy 13 is the 13th of December 2008, yes 2008, not 2009. You can now pre-order the game.

Metal Gear Solid 4 sells 300,000 units in Japan
Looks like Metal Gear Solid 4 is off to a flying start by selling 300,000 units in Japan.
130,000 copies of the Normal Edition were sold and 170,000 copies of the Limited Edition were sold. Looks like more people wanted the Limited Edition. These figures do not include the PS3+MGS4 bundle.
