Many sources are reporting that Call of Duty 5 is way ahead in development. In fact Kotaku reports that Call of Duty 5 is already at a playable stage, and is currently going throug what they call a quality assurance stage.
So, is Call of Duty 5 set in modern day, the future or the past? According to Kotaku, Call of Duty 5 is set in a World War II Pacific environment and will use the current Call of Duty 4 game engine, the engine that will be used in the upcoming James Bond Quantum of Solace game.
Call of Duty 5 doesn’t have a release date as of yet but i’m sure we will find out at E3 or something. COD 5 will also be appearing on the Playstation 2.
