PES 2009 to get TrophiesPro Evolution Soccer 2009 will support Trophies but not sure whether trophies are supported from day 1 or from a future upgrade/patch. No word on what trophies there are and how you will achieve them.
We think that FIFA 09 should support trophies, if Konami make this move we think that EA may follow suit.

Pro Evolution Soccer demo release dateKonami has announced that a playable demo of their football game Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will be released on the 2nd of October. Looks like it will be added in the next Playstation Store update. In the demo you’ll be able to play a full five minute match with the following teams; Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.
Also, there will be videos detailing the ‘Become a Legend’ and online ‘Legends’ modes.

New clubs and stadiums for PES 2009Manchester United and Liverpool will appear in Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 as fully licensed teams. Konami have confirmed a number of additional clubs. The following clubs are confirmed:
- F.C. Barcelona
- Real Madrid
- Inter Milan
- F.C. Porto
- Brondby IF
- St Petersburg
The French Lique 1 and the Dutch Eredivisie both feature full and complete licensing. New stadiums include:
- Wembley
- Stade de France
- Stadio Olimpico di Torino
PES 2009 is set to be released October 17th in Europe, with the US release following in early November.

Leipzig GC 2008: New PES 2009 detailsStill deciding between Fifa 09 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2009? Maybe this will make your mind up.
According to Konami’s Press Conference at Leipzig Games Convention 2008 PES 2009 has been completely revamped that includes player models, crowd and uniforms. The graphics have been revamped and the designers spending a lot of time making sure PES us much more fun to play as well as easier to control.
PES 2009 will feature a new game mode called Become a Legend, where you can relive the career of your favourite football player. You’ll start out as a rookie and build your career up to become the best.
The football game will be released in October 2008.
