monstersale play Holiday bonanza in Europe

Our favourite online store Play.com is at it again, this time with a Monster sale with prices starting as low as £9,99 (€13,99). Seems some stores are trying to make sure the gamers don’t notice too much of the current financial problems in the world with these prices their throwing at us. Only thing is, you’ll need to know when these days are.

The games that caught our eyes were:

Prince of Persia (£17.99)
Midnight Club: Los Angeles (£17.99)
Far Cry 2 (£17.99)
Bioshock (£17.99)
LittleBigPlanet £24.99
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift £29.99
Fallout 3: Collector’s Edition £24.99

Since I already gave myself LittleBigPlanet and Pacific Rift as christmas gift, I’ll be looking which ones will start off my New Year. Fallout 3 is already in my basket.

From time to time we’ll post some interesting sales of games or accessories to help ease the pain in current times

In a press release, Rockstar let know that Midnight Club: LA will get a “massive downloadable upgrade and content pack”.

The content is actually two packs. One containing the South Central Upgrade Map, which is a map that is 1/3 of the current map. Including landmarks, such as Exposition Park, the USC campus, Shrine Auditorium, Crenshaw Plaza, and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, with Rockstar adding that the new area “stretches south to the 105 Freeway.
The other half is contains a collection of motorcycles and cars (SUV’s), character competitions, races, and music.

You will have to pay for the pack with new vehicles and music, but the South Central Map will be free. So keep you eyes out early 2009 when this DLC hit’s the street.

Here’s a video of Midnight Club: Los Angeles, the fifth in the racing series. In this video you get to see the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, check it out.

The only convertible Lamborghini in production, it looks pretty, but it means business.
