One day later then the North American store update, but with a lot of goodies, the delay from yesterday seems to be already forgotten by most people as the highly anticipated LittleBigPlanet Pack is out. There is no pack that includes the costumes and level so you will have to purchase them both separately.
Also out is Savage Moon, a frantic, action-packed tower defense game in a gritty sci-fi setting. Expect to see the WipeOut HD and Metal Gear Online demo’s on there (expect an event from us soon) as well as the latest Buzz add-on and some special seasonal offers. Check the full list out after the break.

You probably missed this part on our weekly Playstation Store update, but we’re letting you know that users on the PSP can purchase the expansion pack for $5. It will increase level of maps with 40.
If you didn’t have the original version already, they will come with a bundle including both the expansion and the original version. So that’s 96 levels to keep keep you entertained.

One interesting fact was that it seems echochrome is taking up all the 333MHz of processing power.

Echochrome, the mind numbing puzzle game, already out in America was meant to be released in Europe as part of last weeks Playstation Store update. Did it make it? No.
GameFAQS have Echochrome listed for the 10th of July 2008 which is a couple of days away. Lets hope Europe will be playing Echochrome this Thurdsday.

According to the official UK Playstation site Echochrome will be out on July 3rd for Europe.
Being one of the top PSN title in North America we wonder what kind of succes Echochrome will have in Europe as the Playstation’s version of Brain Age.
No price is know at this moment for this 1080p puzzle game.

Playstation.Blog announced that 30 new echochrome levels will be released in the coming two weeks starting on Thursday. Only one of these usermade levels was from outside the US and Canada.

The levels will appear at random in freeform mode on the difficulty your playing. But in freeform mode you will first get the levels that have not been cleared first, so will you need to skip forward if your looking for those new levels once they get out.

Visit the flickr page to see all the 30 levels posted by Playstation.Blog which also include credit for the creators of these 30 great designs.
There is still no mention of a date for when echochrome will be released in Europe.

For any of you Playstation 3 Echochrome players, 20 new puzzles will be added between May 15th and 21st. We mentioned before that users can create their own puzzles in Echochrome and will be available to download the best ones selected by the developers.

“The additional levels will appear at random in freeform mode if you set your difficulty level to 2 or 3. The difficulty level is represented by the bars at the bottom right of the loading screen between freeform levels, and the difficulty for the next level can be set while the next level is loading by pressing left or right on the d-pad. Levels are picked randomly from all levels in your “gallery”, “portfolio”, and user created levels. Remember that in freeform mode, levels that have not been cleared are selected first.”

In the future Echochrome will feature user created content that you will be able to download and play as well as upload your own created puzzles. Looking at the official Playstation Blog you can look at what the producer of Echochrome has to say about this subject.
“When you boot up the PS3 version of the game and sign in online, you may be prompted to download new content. These new, free updates contain the top user-created levels, hand-selected by the developers themselves. There will be new levels available on a regular basis, but they will only be available to play until the next group of levels is up. So be sure to check in regularly for more content – or you may miss out!”
There is no information as of yet regarding the European release of Echochrome but i’m sure we will hear something later on today at when the Playstation event starts.

Echochrome was released in the last Playstation Store update on the 1st of May. If you haven’t yet bought Echochrome and waiting for that final push to buy it, here are some great gameplay videos that will surely make you buy this game!
