David Jaffe’s game to be released in 2010David Jaffe, the man that worked on the Twisted Metal and God of War series has stated that his new game will be released at some point in 2010. His company, Eat, Sleep, Play are hard at work bringing the Playstation 3 a new game. A few months ago there were rumors and hints regarding what the game could be. The majority of people think that his new game is a new Twisted Metal game.
Jaffe made a post on his official blog stating that he is going to see Sony about the new game and that it should be ready in 2010.
As for promoting the new game, when is that, you ask? Well at least I hope you ask!
Who knows. Going to visit Sony today but we prob. won’t pick a launch day. My gut/guess tells me we’re looking sometime in 2010. Certainly not later than that. Perhaps sooner.

David Jaffe, the man behind the God of War and Twisted Metal series has confirmed that his new game won’t be shown or even spoken of at Leipzig next week. David has said that the game will be ready to be shown to the public in 6 months time.
“We’re prob. a good 6-10 months away from letting anyone outside of Sony see it,” the controversial developer stated. “And at that point, I have no clue if they will give it its own showing to the press or make it’s unveiling a part of something like GDC or E3.”
“This stuff takes time, man. But trust me, I’m dying to show it and talk about it and show off some of the amazing stuff the team has been up to.”

Eat Sleep Play’s new game? We’re all wondering what Eat Sleep Play’s new game is. If you dont already know, Eat Sleep Play is a new company formed by David Jaffe and Scott Campbell. The team behind the Twisted Metal series and God of War, currently have a three game console/handheld exclusive deal with Sony.
David Jaffe has shown some stuff about his new game, here’s an image.
The above image is David showing his doodles for a new level design for his game. But what is the game? Could it be a new Twisted Metal or something?
But I figured I’d share a bit of what’s up with the work on my end. Out in Utah I know the team is scrambling to get a nice, sexy build of the game going for a Sony Dog and Pony next week. While I am sure I would drive some of them crazy if I was out there everyday- and the very successful, very functional alliance we’ve forged over the last 12 years would prob. not work with daily, real life connection- it’s times like these I WISH I was out there, so I could help with the crunch.
