Dead Space gets it’s own special editionIn a news letter from EA Games, they let know that by pre-ordering Dead Space you’ll be able to get your hands on one of the limited and exclusive Art books. It is written by the Development Team and also includes some illustrations.

The book contains details on the creation from concept through production. You will also get 3D glasses for the special 3D art only viewable with the glasses.
Though it seems you will only be able to get this special edition when you pre-order it from the EA Store.
There is nothing on this on the official blog. But on the forum they are talking about it and it’s being priced a steep $150 . It will probably include:
- The Dead Space game
- Special Ultra Limited Edition packaging
- Dead Space Downfall Animated Movie (DVD)
- Bonus content DVD
- Exclusive lithograph art
- 97-pg Dead Space art book written and illustrated by the development team (What we where talking about)
- 160-pg Graphic novel
- Ishimura crew patch
And is named the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition.
Can somebody confirm this as I keep getting redirected to the Dutch EA Store which doesn’t have it.

Epic Games working on a new IP?It appears that Epic Games, the creator of the Gears of War and Unreal series are working on a brand new game. This new game is to be published by Electronic Arts. Here’s some words from Mark Rein, the Vice President of Epic Games.
“Epic is excited to work with EA Partners to launch our next big IP on the global stage. EA Partners gives independent developers like Epic the muscle of a global publisher like EA, along with the focus and flexibility of a smaller team committed to working with our individual needs.”
President of the EA Games Label, Frank Gibeau says:
“Epic brings first class talent and technology to the development of this new title. We are very proud to have Epic join the growing roster of EA Partners.”
What we don’t know is what platform the title is on, but with EA involved we’re guessing multiplatform.

Most likely the last trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company due to the game being out within days world wide. Here is the launch trailer for the war game and if you havent tried the demo yet i highly suggest you do so because it might make you buy the game, its pretty good.
“Deep within the US Army exists an elite force… this is not them.”

Ok so you’ve seen the previous ‘lets take the rip out of this game’ videos that Battlefield: Bad Company are enforcing? The first was Metal Gear Solid, the next one was an advert for Gears of War, and now this one was released yesterday and it takes the rip out of the stealthy action seen in the Rainbow Six games.

Below is a video of Battlefield: Bad Company that takes another shot at a game. First we saw them take the rip out of Metal Gear Solid and now they are hitting on the Gears of War advert, the Bad World one. This is fantastic marketing… but will it be effective when the game is released in a few days.

Battlefield: Bad Company PreviewCheck out this preview video for Battlefield: Bad Company. This upcoming first person shooter looks pretty good and if you want to try before you buy check out the demo that was released on the Playstation Store a two weeks ago. If you enjoyed the previous Battlefield games your in for a treat here.

I love it when a game takes a shot at another game and here’s a great example of that. Here we see Battlefield: Bad Company do a Metal Gear Solid 4. You see a bunch of soldiers looking at a can thinking they saw it move, adn the famous explanation mark appears above the can. Its quite funny.
“No locusts, snakes, or rainbow-sprinkled doughnuts were hurt during the making of these three movies.”
