The Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is well underway and Sony have received quite alot of feedback and hopes to make the experience even better.

But how is the game doing elsewhere? Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has won alot of awards at E3 2009, these include; Best Graphics, Best Ps3 Game and Best Of Show.

Sony announced a motion controller for the Playstation 3 during E3 2009. Here are some key highlights of the controller. (thanks to VG247)

  • The demonstration showed 1-to-1 motion control.
  • It has true 3D pointing. if you change angles to the camera it’ll notice. In FPS mode, you can move and shoot but, will sometimes need buttons.
  • The ability to use two controllers is there. With one in each hand you can play with building blocks etc.
  • When you move the camera follows you.

After a debate saying that Lost Planet 2 would be an Xbox 360 exclusive, it now appears that it has now been confirmed for the Playstation 3.

Jack Tretton mentioned this during the Sony Press Conference at E3 that we will expect to see the game appear on the PS3.

It wouldn’t make sense to not bring out the sequel to the first game.

The first game shown during the Sony Press Conference, Evan Wells took to the stage and showed off the game. Unlike the event Sony held earlier for the general public, in which saw the debut of the co-op and multiplayer portions, this is single player only.

The Playstation Store will be getting daily updated while E3 2009 is on. The updates will most likely consist of game trailers and videos as well as the E3 2009 Press Conference. If we are that lucky we could get a few demos.

Everyone has been wondering what David Jaffe has up his sleeve, we know that it is a Playstation 3 exclusive and many gamers believe it’s a new Twisted Metal game. We all could be wrong.

But the thing is, is that we are going to have to wait longer than we thought because David said on his blog that his new game will not be revealed at this years E3.

He plans to show something at next years E3 (2010). Can we wait that long?

EA’s pre-E3 2009 event is quite big, in fact they showcased 24 games and they were playable! The event was at their Los Angeles Studios where they filled out two lobbies and let attendees play through some demo’s

The following games are believed to have attended:-

Boom Blox Bash Party, EA Sports Active, Fight Night Round 4, Grand Slam Tennis, MySims Agents, MySims Racing, Need for Speed Shift, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, The Saboteur, The Sims 3, Warhammer Online, Dragon Age: Origins, NCAA Football 10, Battlefield 1943, Brutal Legend, Madden NFL 10, Spore Galactic Adventures, Need for Speed Nitro, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Dead Space Extraction, Army of Two TFD, Spore Hero, Spore Hero Arena, and GI Joe.

This is in preperation for E3, i wonder if they have any surprises? Who wants to see SSX again?

The Resident Evil creators have revealed their line-up for this years E3 that starts next month. There are no huge surprises here but there are two mystery games where one is playable and the other will be announced.

Just Add Water, a UK development studio have confirmed that they are going to announce ‘Project V’ at E3. It is a first part Sony Computer Entertainment Europe title.

Nothing has been said about the game in question, we don’t know the genre, no one knows nothing until E3.

So i guess we will all have to wait, be sure to check back soon.

Splegends.com have apparently heard a massive rumour that God of War 3 could be playable at this year’s E3. While not officially confirmed but Sony Santa Monica’s Patrick Murphy (Lead Character Artist for God of War III) mentioned that God of War 3 will be playable at E3 2009.

E3 2009 will take place on the 2nd of June and will last until the 4th of June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Here’s a video of Resistance 2, the multiplayer side of things.

Sony demonstrates Resistance 2 Multiplayer at the E3 Media & Business Summit.

According to the video, the online play had no slowdown or lag, support items included a healing circle to recover health, a map of the imeddiate area is available in the upper-right corner and the title included the standard weapon options found in the first title such as the MSA2 carbine and the Hedgehog Grenade.
