We’ll be making an announcement on the release timing later this month
The PlayStation Portable game is already out in Japan and soon in North America, but Europe (and other PAL regions) were not sure if they would see the game. But now we will.

A new Dissidia Final Fantasy videoA new video of Dissidia Final Fantasy has appeared and here it is! The game will be released in December for Japan and hasn’t been announced just yet for anywhere else.
Square Enix has announced that Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be released sometime in December 2009. Dissidia is an upcoming fighting game that will feature characters from previous Final Fantasy’s including Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, Squall Leonhart, Ultimecia, Tidus and Jecht.
A Playstation Portable bundle will also be available, expect one similar to Final Fantasy VII: Crises Core.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an action game developed by Square Enix and Published by Square Enix and will be released on the Playstation Portable. Dissidia: Final Fantasy is part of the campaign of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary.
What is different about New Dissidia: Final Fantasy from other Final Fantasy games is that the game features characters from Final Fantasy games in the past participating in one-on-one battles.
“Already announced characters for the game include; Warrior of Light (I), Garland (I), Firion (II), Emperor Palamecia (II), Sephiroth (VII), Squall Leonhart (VIII), Ultimecia (VIII), Zidane Tribal (IX) & Kuja (IX).”
“Now Tidus & Jecht from Final Fantasy X are confirmed to appear in the game.”
This should be a good game to play if you a major Final Fantasy fan.
