Final Fantasy creators, Square Enix have licenced the Gamebryo Engine from Emergent. Gamebryo Engine powers the successful Fallout 3 game, we’re wondering what Square Enix will do with the engine, maybe they want to create a new RPG and drift away from Final Fantasy for a while.

Gamebryo offers a flexible framework, allowing us to develop effectively and efficiently for any target platforms

We think Square Enix have an AAA title lined up and are using this engine to develop it.
