Sony: We announced Home too early

Do you think Sony announced Playstation Home too early? We think so because they announced it more than 1 and half years ago and it’s still not ready for the public. Maybe Sony should have announced it late last year or something, would have been alot better.
Peter Edward, game director says:
Initially, there was real excitement from people, because we were showing something really different and that had a lot of potential. And then there’s the realisation that, well, we probably announced it too early – GDC 07 was a long time ago. I think there was sort of recognition amongst developers of ‘Oh, this is interesting, but there’s still a lot of work to be done.

true, the hype was too big. And now their suffering from it due to some features not being implemented and developers started showing interest (too) late.
Yes, it will get there… eventually.
