Sony: No Price Cut

Chief Financial Officer Nobuyuki Oneda, Sony Corp said on Friday that Sont themselves has no plans to cut the price of the Playstation 3.

Oneda said:

“Our strategy is not to sell more quantity for PS3 but to concentrate on profitability. Our plan is not to reduce the price.”

So now would be a good time to purchase a Playstation 3 because no price cut is planned and you get to play Metal Gear Solid 4.
