Sony: Firmware 2.4 will include trophies and in-game XMB
Sony Computer Entertainment America has now officially confirmed that Playstation 3 system software firmware 2.4 will include trophies and the long awaited in-game XMB (Cross Media Bar).
“We’re also happy to officially report that the 2.40 system software update for PS3 will include “XMB” access in-game. The update will also include “trophies,” an exciting new feature that we’ll be providing more details on soon, as well as some other new enhancements.”
No one knows the release date apart from Sony themselves so i guess we will have to keep an eye on the Playstation Blog.

Only thing I’m worried is that there was no metion of which period. Only that 2.4 would contain XMB and trophies
