Sony expands it’s Playstation R&D division
One of Sony’s subsidiary companies SN Systems will be launching a new satellite office in Dublin, Ireland. This will be matched with a company-wide recruitment drive.
The Dublin office will be lead by Matt Bush who has been at SN Systems for the last nine years. This office will focus on the Research and Development of ProDG development tools, the standard programming tools for all Playstation hardware.
SN Systems director Andy Beveridge said
As part of the on-going development process we’re finding that in order to recruit the most talented staff, we need to have offices in numerous locations. Last year we opened our first US office in San Jose, California and this year it’s Dublin
Their Bristol office will remain their headquarters as they try to recruit more staff to cope with the demand of supporting Playstation game title developers.
