Good News for SingStar fans out there. A future firmware update will allow you to rip songs from your SingStar PS2 collection, and play them on the PS3 version of SingStar. So if any of you are still wondering on picking up a PS3, then this is another reason to pick one up. This is also going to benefit with the SingStar PS3 adding more tracks from the PS2 collection.
Not many details were given on, such as there is no release date for the firmware planned.

Singstar is good, i’m still waiting to get the PS3 version, i still have the PS3 version. Can’t wait for it.
Your comment confused me, do you mean you still have the PS2 version?
I’ve been looking into the SingStar franchise but I’m not to much of a music person.
To the community out there, how is SingStar, is it worth a purchase?
