Resident Evil: Degeneration gets dated
After three Resident Evil movies Sony Pictures went with a CGI cast instead of regular actors with the latest edition.
The fourth Resident Evil movie named Resident Evil: Degeneration will be a direct-to-video movie. You will be able to get the movie on Blu-ray and DVD from December 30th in North America. In Japan the movie premiered at the Tokyo Game Show and will be available nationwide in the upcoming week.

Degeneration takes place seven years following the destruction of Raccoon City , and follows an outbreak of the T-virus at an unknown airport somewhere in the United States which needs to be neutralize before the virus escapes, causing a nation wide epidemic. In this edition we can expect to see Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield return who appeared in Resident Evil 2.

so this has nothing to do with the other 3 movies?
Actually it does. It takes place 7 years after the event of the third movie.
i saw the 3rd movie just last night and it seemed like mostly everyone in america was either dead or zombified and in this new movie it looks like everything has been repopulated. In only 7 years. ????
