The next Playstation Portable firmware update 5.00 will add a host of new features. Eric Lempel, Director, PlayStation Network Operations has informed readers that firmware version 5.00 will add the ability to to sign up to the Playstation Netowork, manage your account and access the Playstation Store using your PSP. This will all be accessible through the Playstation Network icon on the XMB.
This update will add a sleep timer option that can be used while you are playing music on your PSP.
In addition, we’ve added a full screen keyboard option for text entry and have redesigned the background of the XMB.

When will this come out?I,ve tried logging in to the playstation store on pc,but,I get under construction.I went to plastation.com ant it still had the 4.05 update.
I think it will release later in the day today.

If you mean the firmware update, you can get it from the PlayStation website of your country. Check under PSP, then
