PSP Major Network Update Coming

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a firmware update for the PlayStation Portable. Remember way back when Sony said that the PlayStation Store can be accessed via the PSP? Well the time has come. Sony Japan just announced the PlayStation Store can be accessed through your PSP starting this Fall.

That’s not all though, thanks to interactivity between the PS3 and PSP, selected titles that support ad hoc mode can now play ad hoc online. The only confirmed title at this time is Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.

More features will be announced later on. The network features will be compatible on all PSP Systems.
