The Playstation 3 System Software Update Firmware Version 2.36 is now available. When you sign into Playstation Network you will be prompted to download this new update. Nothing new in this update but the usual “system stability when playing select PlayStation format software titles.”

Everyone is awaiting the big 2.4 update that will be released soon. There were a number of rumors saying it was going to be released around the same time as Metal Gear Solid 4. Unfortunately this never happened.
