Did you know that the Playstation 3 works out cheaper even after the Xbox 360 price cut that could happen on the 7th of September? Well, it does.
The 360 could be reduced by at least $50. Assuming this rumor is true, the PS3 still work out potentially cheaper. Take a look at the following chart.
If you just buy the base unit with no upgrades the 360 works out cheaper, however it’s a different story if you want to start upgrading the 360. Thats if you want wireless and don’t forget the $50 a year for online play. Also what about a Blu-ray drive if they ever bring one out.

The PS3 is cheaper in the long run cos it only has 1 game a year worth buying.

I was thinking the same.
the 360 is cheaper but if u count all the times it breaks on u and if u play for more than a year online. if u play till 2010 ud pay an additional $100
PS3 will always be cheaper expecially its got a blu-ray player. How much do blu-ray players for on the market?
