Killzone 2 is going to set new standard for first person shooters and is a great contender for game of the year. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could create your own maps? Nobody said no.

If you take a look at this comment over on the US Official Playstation Forums, one of the Killzone 2 developers has responded to this question asked by a user:

Another Question: Does Killzone 2 engine make possible a future DLC MAP EDITOR?
If it does, what’s your opinion about that (releasing a map editor)?

The Killzone 2 developer responded with this:

Tough one.  But it is something we’ll keep in the back of our minds for the future.

They didn’t say no, so it could come in the future, which is nice to know.
