Playstation Video Store now online
Sony announced at E3 that the Playstation Network will have the abaility to rent and purchase movies and TV shows. On the video store you’ll find movies not just from Sony but from big name studios such as Fox, MGM, Lions Gate, Warner, Disney, Paramount etc.
Videos and movies will be available in both SD and HD. The cost of a TV show starts at $1.99, movies cost $9.99 up to $14.99 and lastly, rentals are $2.99 up to $5.99. Best of all is that the movies/shows are portable meaning you can download them onto your Playstation Portable as well.
PSN users will also get a single persistent sign-on across every device that can access the network: PS3, PSP, PC.
