While Microsoft has been getting a stronghold on RPGs in Japan, a translation was done with an interview with Gouda Tsutomu and Higuchi Yoshito if a PS3 version will be done.

“Higuchi’s SHINFONIA, when the GameCube too specialized and because of the PlayStation 2 when transplanted to the lower frame rate, a considerable ingenuity. PlayStation 3 is a very sophisticated, so in that sense I think the same thing can be reproduced. However, it will be released, and what is not yet.” (source-onAXIS)

Expect news on if this is confirmed later.

The Spore team is really excited about Little Big Planet. Here’s what they say:

Now that Spore is done – and reviewers continue to make of it what they will – we asked Shaw what she’s most looking forward to. The answer didn’t surprise us in the least. “I’m really interested in LittleBigPlanet, and I think the rest of the team is, too,” she said with genuine excitement in her voice. “I really want to see their tool set and how easy it is to share [content] with other people. There’s huge potential there if they do it right.”

Little Big Planet has been making allot of buzz lately. Even these are a huge hit.

In an interview with videogaming247, Yoshida backs up the claims of Jack Tretton, that this is the year of the PS3.

“All the things are now coming together in terms of the right hardware, cost and pricing, and we are increasing our hard disc space as we are increasing the content we’re offering through the network and the big titles we’re working on, coming out this Christmas,” he said. “All that is coming together this year.”

He even says that next year would keep the pace going. He even says that there are still unannounced titles for next year.

Sucker Punch’s Game Director Nate Fox said in an interview with videogamer.com,

“it’s great to have that much more detail in the world”.

“You have a lot more characters running around, particle effects,” he added. “Everything you want, more, more, more, the hardware can take it. I think you can see it. The graphic quality of the game is really, really strong.”

It’s nice to hear more praise about development on the PS3. Sucker Punch made 3 titles on the PlayStation 2, the Sly Copper games.

We’ve been posting Operation Flashpoint 2 images in the past but they aren’t exactly in-game shots, they are more of a artwork showcase.

Below are actual in-game screenshots of the game and it looks fantastic. Whether it will look like this on consoles is beyond us. Far Cry 2 looks brilliant on consoles so i don’t see why Flashpoint 2 shouldn’t.

Want to know what Far Cry 2 looks like on a console? Below is a video of Far Cry 2 running on a console and to be honest it handles it very well. Apparently Far Cry 2 is best played on the Playstation 3 out of the consoles.

Seems the delay Alone in the Dark had on the Playstation 3 really has some benefits.

You can expect better camera work and an added exclusive sequence to enhance our gaming pleasure for when the game gets released on November 18th.

Seems luck is not with the Madden series on the next-gen consoles. So far EA Sports has not been able to deliver a single edition of Madden for the 360 and PS3 without freeze issues and online disconnects to name few with the release of the game.

After the previous two patches a freezing problem seems to be popping up every now and then during play calling or highlight screens which would halt the game.

Ian Cummings, Senior Designer for Madden 2010 commented by saying

the team has been working on a new patch, and has been furiously trying to work on the stability of the game, as well as tracking down what was causing the problem.

Players should save and reboot their game after they’ve started a game if players like playing multiple matches at a time, or save and exit a game to start a new one

Despite these issue not everybody on the Testing team could reproduce these problems. For example people who played one game at a time and saving/rebooting afterwards, have had zero crashes.

Gamers should expect another patch in less then a few weeks.
