New Playstation 3 exclusive announced: Hardware 2
PlaystationLifestyle are proud to reveal a new Playstation 3 exclusive game called Hardware 2. The name of the new game is just a concept name so it may change in the future. For those of you that wanted to know, Hardware: Online Arena is an online multiplayer game that focuses on vehicular destruction using varying means such as missiles, lasers and machine guns. Many of you thought the first game was pretty average. Don’t be too dissapointed because Hardware 2 will be different.
You’ll be able to fully customise your every part on your vehicle including colours, items, weapons and more. You’ll be fighting in a living breathing area where you will be able to destroy anything that gets in your way. The biggest change in the new game is the environments because you can just kill your enemies by letting a building fall on them. Hell, you can even destroy a building and it can crash into another building and get damaged realisticly.
You can look at it as the next gen Carmageddon meets Twisted metal.
So, how many people can you play with? There will be battles of up to 50 vs 50 and there will be plenty of game modes including 1 vs 99. Imagine that. You get the basic multiplayer game modes including; deathmatch, team deatchmatch ,CTF and King of the hill. There will be 14 game modes in total.
The online part will be very important and they are going to make sure that Clan support is included. You can have a clan emblem, create your own tournaments, and build up your reputation. The reputation is something special, some games encourage that you destroy buildings and kill innocent people, well Hardware 2 is different, you should avoid it… You will need to take the decision if your shot will be accurate enough or else you will kill 50 people, that’s what military is all about. The more ‘clean’ you play, the better your reputation will become.
Sounds like a wicked game to me and hopefully will be a massive improvement over the previous game.
