Metal Gear Solid Existence?
Konami just trademarked the title, and little is known about the new title. All there is known about the title is the picture provided by Konami and an educated guess by the source.
Going by the title alone it sounds like we’re going to visit the existence - or origins of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. So, will this be another game starring Big Boss? Let the wild pre-Tokyo Game Show speculation begin!

[UPDATE] Konami has also registered the name ‘Existence’ alone with no Metal Gear. MGS4’s subtitle ‘Guns of the Patriots’ was registered alone too.

wasnt there mention that there would be a download available on december 12th or something? six months after the mgs4 release date…

This doesn’t have any connection to the mysterious december 12th thing.
Is it confirmed that this is a PS3 game? It could be for another platform (PSP perhaps? If it is a PS3 game then I’d assume this would be a revamped MGS4 (like MGS2 & MGS3 had) or a PSN title. As all full blown sequels (except the PSP titles) are titled with a number. I hope its something new. Can never have enough Metal Gear!

It hasn’t been announced for any platforms yet.
It won’t be a revamped MGS4.

OMG!This is awesome news,these probably means there going to do what they did for metal gear solid 2 and 3.Make another version with a bunch of new content and a couple of little things only long time fans will get.Metal gear solid 3 subsistance is my favorite game of all time,i can’t amagine what there going to do for mgs4,mgs3 was insane but when they brought subsistance with all that extra content,i couldn’t believed it.Thank you guy’s for this news,i’m a big fan of this site,i come here if i wan’t to know whats all going on in the playstation world.

It’s just there speculation. We still don’t know what it is. Hopefully we hear more from TGS in the next few weeks.

That’s if he works on this project, but he likely will. He’ll make it into a story where we will be confused again.
