Metal Gear Solid 5 could be a prequel

Metal Gear Solid 5 could be a prequel rather than a sequel. With recent discussions regarding MGS5, here, here, here, and here.

Speaking with 1UP, Ryan Payton assistant producer of MGS4 said “still a lot of room for filling in the gaps as far as Big Boss is concerned.”

“There are some misunderstandings that this is the final Metal Gear game. But it’s really the final chapter of the Solid Snake story. That’s all.”

Payton being questioned with the possibility of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5, he responded with this:

“because it gets to the point where if we continue on with Metal Gear Solid 5 with more Solid Snake adventures, we’ll get to the point where the game has absolutely no basis in reality. I do like the idea that this character has had four or five big missions and then that’s when it ended, rather than have 20 missions where there’s no chance in hell a secret agent could ever survive. He’s had four or five really big missions, and that seems a little more realistic to me.”

Maybe they will introduce some new characters or it could well be a sequel with Solid Snake - thats not carrying on the adventures, thats telling the story of what happened in the past. Who knows.

Just Remake the MGS & MGS2 for the NES, They are great Stories that haven’t been told properly, always the antagonist in the MGS series had a lot of “camera time” but in the NES version they where rather short or not at all, and been this Big Boss, I mean now that we know all about the patriots story and secrets they cannot hold back like MGS3, and talk about Zero And the philosophers while you are sneaking in the original OUTER HEaVEN, also the sub-bosses had a story & shit, I just Wanna see BIG BOSS “evil” side and all the little thing that were lost in the BITS, Really, they don’t even had to bother Big Kojima (Like the NGC twin snakes) just show him the final product and and change all the thing he say they have to change, the dude it’s a perfectionist, And let him concentrate in ZOE3

i agree…spoiler… remaking MG and MG2: solid snake would be amazingly fantastically wonderfull, but think about all the other possibilities such as BB corps, raiden (while he was trained and fought for solidus during the liberian war(?)), matka plutku (1964 - present), drebin (what he does after MGS4), the boss (before she defected to russia and after), Naked Snake (because MGS3 had shown events leading to his role as Big Boss, and only had one mission or 2 if you count the virtuos mission in his life where-as solid snake has had 5 MG MG2 MGS1 MGS2 (helping raiden) and finally MGS4), liquid snake, liquid ocelot, revolver ocelot and the previous ocelot from 1964 during volgins reign, meryl (during shadow moses and after), johhny (akiba)(during shadow moses and after), ED, grey fox (during MG and MGS1), olga gulukavich (before the big shell incedent and as the cyborg ninja), vamp, fatman(maybe).

and just to wrap things up, no-one in these games are *EVIL* or otherwise, they are all controlled by the patriots, and LIQUID knows it, he uses his influence on the patriots to destroy the AI…. BUT WHY ….. and big boss wanted to create a HAVEN (place of no controle) for mankind to be free and live a life not a decision of a computers AI, no-one in these games liked the patriots, and no-one alone could destroy them, but in conflict between to brothers and a family despute (big boss liquid ….) do they detroy the patriots AI and release SOP/GOP controle unless you’ve completed the game i am sorry for spoiling anything but it was ur choice to read on and on and on and on and on and on and on and and on and on and on, see….. you did it again, you kept on reading….. thank you for letting me waste ur time
