Metal Gear Solid 5 confirmed?
Ryan Payton was the Assistant Producer for Metal Gear Solid 4 and has left Kojima Productions. Upon leaving, Ryan has let slip that Metal Gear Solid 5 is on it’s way. In a recent interview with Kotaku, he was asked if there is anything he wishe’s he could of done while at Kojima Productions but didn’t and here’s what he said:
It’ll be hard not being involved in MGS5, but I’ve got the utmost confidence that Hideo Kojima, Ken Imaizumi, and our amazing team will put together another blockbuster game. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines.
This pretty much confirms that Metal Gear Solid 5 is on the way and Ryan has said that he will miss being involved, “It’ll be hard not being involved in MGS5″.
Nice to know that he’ll be cheering for the game.

Because without Ryan Payton, the MGS titles wouldn’t have been what they are today??? Suure buddy!
And where he mentions: “I’ve got the utmost confidence that Hideo Kojima, Ken Imaizumi, and our amazing team will put together another blockbuster game.”
Man, Ryan is so full of himself… They were fine before you showed up in the picture and they’ll be fine looong after.
As for “MGS 5″, didn’t Kojima-San himself iterate clearly that this is the last of the Metal Gear “Solid” series, therefore, diverting to a new “Metal Gear” franchise. Also, Kojima mentioned that he’ll have nothing else to do with the “Metal Gear” saga thereafter.
PS: Don’t think that MGS4 is coming over to the 360. Sorry folks!
