This is a different type of gold were talking about. ELSPA (Entertainment & Leisure Software Publishers Association) based in londen has given LittleBigPLanet a gold status as they do with all games that sell more then 200,000 units in the UK.

LittleBigPlanet may not be the big console seller as many thought but it is still selling steadily week after week. Also having one of the biggest user-made content base we expect them to hit platinum (300,000 and more) before the summer.

ELSPA operates in a way that each games released on a separate platform gets an individual status. For example the Fallout 3 version of the PS3 is stuck as silver while the 360 version has recieved gold.
