I have been trophy hunting since Firmware 2.40 was released worldwide. But there has been some one (or a group of people) who has obviously obtained nearly every trophy of every game. I have just checked his trophy list right now and he has a total of 2555 trophies . I will break down what kind of trophies in to bronze, silver, gold and platinums . He has a massive amount of bronze trophies equaling up to 1835 trophies. He has 509 silver trophies. 173 gold trophies in total. And last but not least 38 Platinum trophies. Go and look at his trophy list now if you want to see it for yourself. You can’t add him because his friend list is full so send him a blank message and then press triangle on the sent message and then press x on his profile. But there is one platinum he didn’t get, a Wipeout Platinum which I don’t think many people got because getting a platinum in that game is just lethal. He even Got a platinum in Hannah Montnana The Movie, now how sad is that.
He is on level 18 with 2 percent. He has platinum’s in games that are just out within the last week, such as Wanted which he got on the day he bought it, The Godfather II, Monsters VS Aliens, Command And Conquer Red Alert 3 and well, you get the picture. But I’m getting a strong feeling and so is everyone else that no man can really achieve all these trophies. Is there a group of people using the one account and getting all the trophies. Is it a clan of people of nothing else better to do or is it just one man with no life and really loves getting PlayStation 3 trophies. So it all comes down to the title of this post. Is KingOfAllGames A Phony Or The Real Deal. If you want my opinion I’m pretty sure he’s a phony. If he wants to reveal himself to us then by all means do because I think everyone wants to know who KingOfAllGames is or how many other people are using the account as well.

Reveal who they are… god. This man owes you NOTHING, he owes nobody anything. And badgering the poor guy or harassing him on PSN is a stupid, immature thing to do. He has already gotten annoyed at everyone who assumes he is a cheater, hence a statement he made on the PS forums asking to be removed from their leaderboards.
He’s not in it for the glory, he does it because he likes playing games which is surely to reason we’re all gamers. He doesn’t have to justify anything to anyone so I wouldn’t waste your time in messaging him.

Level 10 is still a pretty good level, and he has no platinums which means he is getting a lot of bronze, silver and gold trophies

Youre offending a great person on a personal level even though you do not KNOW this person, i know for a fact that its only one person and i also know that he is a great and pleasent guy, saying offensive words as he beeing fat just because he has alot of trophies is strongly offensive, maybe not towards him but to other people that reads this aswell. Yes, he has a lot of trophies. But you can’t assume anything like his weight, whether he’s a cheater, whether he leaves his bedroom or not – there’s a hundred explanations for his trophy count and not a single one matters in the end. If he does happen to be cheating, then the fault is with Sony for allowing it.
I hope you read this and take it as constructive criticism – you can choose not to and just delete this post or try to insult me, I don’t care. If you want to actually appear as a professional writer, learn to write like one and write about stuff with some actual substance.

No problem. I think there’s scope for an interesting article debating the flaws of the trophy system, addiction levels etc, but to write an article just to accuse someone of being a “phony” with no proof – that’s just not professional and wound me up a bit.
I realise blogs are obviously going to be opinions, but some opinions are best kept to themselves.

I’ve gamed and chatted with this dude plenty of times and all i can say he by far one of the nicest people i know over PSN. I have a meaty trophy collection myself but did Koag claim to be better than me or brag that he had more trophies, no. He said i’m a talented gamer and the only difference between us is that he had more time to play than me. Now thats a mature attitude and you should really try talking to the dude before labeling him a phony.

The fact is, he is cheating. Don’t just look at his trophies, look at the TIMES he gets trophies. He gets trophies on 3 to 4 different games within minutes each other….that’s just not possible. I seen on one of the Sonic games, he had a trophy, then 2 minutes later he got a trophy on another game, THEN about 3 minutes later he got a trophy on Sonic again. There just isn’t enough time to pop a game out/in, get a trophy and throw the other game back in and get another trophy (and is it really plausible to do so?) I say KingOfAllGames=FraudOfAllTrophies.

I’ve no wish to bad-mouth the guy, but surely people must admit that it seems very suspicious. I don’t care that he has more trophies than me, nor that he appears to be much better than me – many people are, and it’s not something I’m fussed about.
For me, it just seems odd that anyone would want to buy every PS3 game purely for the trophies. I mean, we all have our individual taste in games, and there are some games that we just wouldn’t touch. For example, if you hate NFL, would you buy a Madden game simply for trophies? This guy just seems to hoover up every game that comes along, no matter how crappy it is.
Not only does it indicate an unusual amount of free time, but also a large amount of money. I don’t know… maybe he’s a bored millionaire’s son or something.

Actually I don’t find it fun anymore to try to compete with people on the leaderboards especially said #1 when he has multiple people playing his account to stay in the front. Seriously when he posts his trophies up some even pop in between ones that he already had synced to his card. I don’t know about you but that spells cheater to me. I actually never received any hate messages more praise than anything. Well eventually when Sony gets there heads outta there arses and fixes this online community and decides to run there own auto updating leaderboard they’ll get around to banning low lifes and other like him. Seriously what fun is a leaderboard when the competition is playing unfairly.

Like i’ve told many people before, i have no problem with him as a person. But as I stated when he get trophies unlocking on top of ones already unlocked, it looks extremely fishy to me and many others. Don’t feed me the bullcrap that he plays on two or three or four PS3’s so hes not online to post the trophies, that doesn’t sell either. he may not have traded with another person on another PS3 but I can promise you, he really need to change his ID to King(s)ofallgames, cuz friend he is not one person that is playing on that profile. I wouldn’t say that trophies left a bad taste in my mouth but more along the lines of it being an annoiance that others praise him for what he aren’t or what you really haven’t earned. I’ll close on this note: I still enjoy getting trophies, but at least I will not be held to the same standards of having to play crappy games (especially those that to come, with the Sony’s 2009 trophy stance) anymore just to chase a non-existent number……..have fun with that my friend

I hear what your saying dude. And I believe there is a combination of things behind this kingofallgames. I am not going to say he has no skill but there is certainly something there. When the achievement gathering started on Xbox 360 it wasn’t long before reports of hacking came up. Maybe some games have been hacked.
Obviously I don’t think hacking is the central cause. People could get together and boost things easier. Obviously if there is a clan, and they all have different interests, they could work together on genres they benefit in or enjoy. One might take the shooters while someone else takes the sports games. They could save mega amounts of money by finishing games before warranties expire or swapping them straight up. Having said that he could be one guy. In which case he truly is the kingofallgames. Provided he hasn’t cheated.

Oh and I really doupt that it’s a group of people. You CANNOT use a PSN account on more than one PS3 at the same time. I have tried it. When you log in on another PS3 you get logged off on the first one…
actually i’m not saying that they’re all logged on at the same time. Even if ur not signed on the account whatever time it was when you got the trophy it shows it and you can compare it to the other trophy times and then you will see what i mean.
Edit: Here’s more fuel to the fire: It has just come to my attention from a very friendly source: That King(s)ofallgames is a member of Battletracker.com, one of the only sites that has a live Sony Update feed, basically it updates automatically as you receive trophies. Look at his list for yourself and you will see numerous trophies from different games that unlock at the same time or mere minutes apart. Things that make you go hmmm.
