so jak and daxter aren’t coming out to ps2? i mean kh isn’t and now jak too? this is so wrong if its only for ps3’s. + the videos don’t work.

this game is going to be realeased in fall of 2009 for the ps2,psp,and the ps3 and there will be hoverboard upgrades and 5 types of new aircraft you can drive!!!!!

well i did alot of reserch and they are making it for the ps2,and the psp the ps3 im not sure of though even though i think they will make it for the ps3 but the ps2 and the psp they are 100% making it for.

this game isnt coming out on ps3 and naughty dog is not making it high impact games is making it and its coming to the psp this fall and it will be later ported to the ps2

I checked the vids on youtube and noticed a few things:

1. It says they’re on a dangerous island – I don’t know
2. NO, thats not Vin, it’s a new character
3. Jak has a similar haircut to jak x, but not the same – so thats new
4. They never fought a robot like that – so thats also new
5. thats not much to have in a game, so it’s likely going to be a while until it’s released

You’d think that, but Insomniac made their future RaC games for the Ps3, and I reckon Naughty Dog will be the same.
I might be wrong, but they probably won’t care too much about the few people who don’t have a ps3.

I don’t have one myself, but I just get over it.

In regards to the pants (I just read the previous posts), perhaps when Daxter received pants was at that point unknown, and instead of making life easier by making all scenes without pants, they made life difficult with all pants.

I am not sure if Jak 4/5/6 (or since it is not officially a sequel, Jak 1 or something) has been officially announced. I have been looking around tonight for any official confirmation, but I cannot find anything. IGN has the dates 12-31-09 for USA and AU but that’s hardly worth acknowledgment. Naughtydog.com could care less if the Jak franchise was wiped off the face of the earth…

Does anyone have a source for official confirmation that Naughtydog is working on a Jak sequel?

“The demolition duo” is a once-used term from Jak II: Renegade. When you return to Torn after destroying an ammo dump in the fortress, Daxter uses it. The landscape is pretty stereotypical of the Jak games. It resembles the pumping station from Jak II: Renegade specifically to me. However, the Jak used is the Jak from Jak 3… The gun is a purple variation but it does not look like the peacemaker, the mass inverter (or imploder, I can’t remember), or the super nova.

My theory is that it’s a scene that was cut in the making from Jak 3. Especially because the fallen enemy is a mechanism, and you mechanism compose a much larger portion of your enemies in Jak 3 than in Jak II where metal heads and live Krimson guards compose the majority of the baddies. The explanation for the gun looking odd is that the final models were not established at the time the scene was cut. Not only the scene, but seemingly, the whole related mission must have been wiped.

Perhaps the whole “Vinnish” character was a proposed model of Vin after Jak returns to the city and was compromised for Vin dumping his brain into the grid…You ever wonder how he could dump his brain if his brain had been removed from his body?

I myself havet seen 4th game, only spin offs, like the racing game and “Daxter” for psp
