There was a hidden upgrade to the Playstation Store in the most recent firmware update 2.4. When the store got a redesign there was one problem and that was it suffered from not caching images properly meaning the store’s loading times were slow.
Not anymore thanks to firmware 2.4. Firmware 2.4 fixed this issue for both the American Store and European Store. Not only that but a new view mode is available where you can have the store laid out in a list type view. This makes it easier to look at.
You should have a better experience browsing the store.

The images have been loading at this faster rate since the update prior to 2.40, well in the european store anyway
Cool being able to list them though, how do you change that?
WTF?? Don’t you know that the famous firmware 2.4 was a failure?!
I predicted this (by lookin’ at the GTA crash) and didn’t upgraded….

Well actually is wasn’t a failure, a majority of the people doesn’t have a problem. It’s like with some of the updates people get hardware problems. Only this firmware got a lot more media attention so that has probably the reason they pulled it so prevent ‘further’ harm of bad reputation.

what the hell sony wants us to use there network so we have to pay for porgams that are free on abc,cbs,nbc and other networks that are free if we could use flash palyer in the e brouser it’s all about the money sony
