GRID Patch 1.2 released
The GRID update/patch 1.2 was released today. Codemasters has announced the patch on their forums and here’s what they have to say:
With the EU release of the PS3 patch, a bug has come to light that didn’t arise in testing, causing characters to go missing from the front end.
This bug needs naturally to be fixed, and the Development team have fixed the issue in code. However, this will delay the release of the console patches.
We anticipate the delay to be between 5 and 10 days, depending on the QA and submission process.
We can only apologise again for the problem, and the ongoing inconvenience and delay.
Updates: PS3 Patch released worldwide today (4th July) Others still pending.
Changelist for forthcoming PC patch
• Fix for errors generated on game shutdown
• Support for TrackIR
• Online experience points: more points awarded for completing longer races
• Assists on/off toggle added to session creation and browsing
• Additional championships added to event voting (event voting screen now scrolls to see additional championships)
• Fix for failure to recognise some devices in user-created action map presets, including Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2.
• Fixed GRID startup issue where it appears as a process in Task Manager but fails to run.
They didn’t say what changed were made to the PS3 version.
