Firmware version 2.4 rumors
There are a lot of rumors around reporting what will be in the upcoming 2.4 firmware update. The first rumor i came across is that the firmware will be released sometime in june - around the sametime as Metal Gear Solid 4 is released. Multiple sources have stated this so its most likely we will see it in June.
A ps3forums.com members called Doodlepants has reported that version 2.4 will feature a Multiple sign-in meaning it will be possible to have multiple local player sign-in, in multiplayer games that support it.
“What I know is that you will be able to access your information and upload your highscores.”
Another rumor we heard is that the Xross Media Bar will now have a clock and will display date and time in the upper right corner.
Last but not least the new firmware will allow us to access the Xross Media Bar in-game. This is the most wanted feature in an update and i think its going to happen in version 2.4.

That why I love SONY the updates, in a way PS3 is like the apple of consoles, microsoft is easier to the braindead gamers and the ps3 its for people that cherish the moment that game can create, Xbox had make the games into a endless competition killin, racin whatever the can put on live, meanwhile ps3 care more for the expirience a games create not only when you are playing it but after you finish it it makes a mark, I asure you Any one who play, (And I mean PLAY THE HOLE GAME) Shadow of the colossus, know what I am talking ‘ bout A good game change your way you see thing and not your life like turning you in to a mindless xboxer playing all day and night, games should have end not an infinite loop of murders and turning you into a twiching robot..
In Game XMB it gonna bea dream come true listen music and instant messages it just what ps3 lack and it’s gonna make it with style…
I thing they where waiting for the trump card games to arrive so they can test the in game XMB in them, it would sucked if you put a game in you ps3 and the ingame xmb crashes, it a complicated thing to do I’m excited just to thing how it will look…
