After an unspoken delay firmware 2.53 has finally hit the update servers. On the list of expected changed/fixes we can find Full-screen mode playability and Live movie (using RTMP format) playability (ie. Youtube ect) in this update.

This brings the browser one step closer to overtaking the PC for some people. Who want to be able to do everything from behind their PS3.

So did they implement most of the features which were spread onto the internet? Well the install did take long for such a small update compared to what we are used. But most of those named updates were already in firmware 2.52
