Electronic Arts Redwood Shores has confirmed a sequel to Dead Space and will be coming at some point in the future. Glen Schofield, general manager of EA’s Redwood Shores studio in San Francisco has let everyone know the news. We expected a sequel, it would be rude not to because the first game did well and we loved it.

We haven’t announced anything yet, but I don’t think you take a game that’s rated 89 and just go, ‘Well, that was a failure

And you know what, we’ll figure that out, because the hardest thing is the quality. If you figure out the quality, then at some point we’re going to figure out how to get that out there.

We guess it will be released in time for Xmas.

It’ll be interesting to see what they do, because for me, the first game was fairly self-contained. Okay, you had that little bit right at the very end, but for me the story was pretty much completed.

  • Thank you for this fantastic piece of content. I did notice Im having some sort of few glitches on your blog page though. I can look at the article just great but for some reason right now there is actually a frame on top which says “page can not be found” well this would most likely end up being on my end, I may well have some adware.
