Ever wanted to custom paint your Playstation 3? Well now you can with colorwarepc.com. I always wanted to see what a Playstation 3 would look like in a different colour. A PS Forum sent his PS3 into colorwarepc for a Jet Black and Ferrari Red treatment.

I think the PS3 would look fantastic in white and found some white pictures from a forum member. Check out the following pictures of what the PS3 would look like in white.
How good does that look? Extremely. So what does it cost to get your PS3 a custom paint job? After doing a rough mockup of the colours i would get for my PS3 it cost $145 with a 3 week turn around period which is quite off putting. You can buy new PS3’s from colorware brand new with the custom paint job already applied. The custom paint job i would choose is this:
White PS3 with orange drive and orange controllers.
Gold PS3:

Deep blue with white trim, with a blue and white DS3, or something crazy like an American flag w/ matching controllers, if I could part with my PS3 for 3 wks I’d do it but that’s too long

the red and black look cool but I like the white and chrome better. If I was going to custom my PS3 I would done in metallic blue with chrome
You can buy white controllers already, the Dual Shock 3 controllers from Hong Kong/Japan. All controllers are multi region. I’ve had two white pads for over a year, and they were out well before the Dual Shock 3 was released in the UK where i’m from.
Its all about Polka Dots for the console though…
