Cross Edge a new RPG

Here is a new JRPG (japanese rpg) to look forwards to. Developed by Compile Heart and the name of the game says it all, it crosses edges. Why? Because Cross Edge features characters from Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Bandai Namco, Gust and Idea Factory.

Some of the characters are as follows:

CAPCOM - Vampire Darkstalkers series: Morrigan, Felicia, Demitri
BANDAI NAMCO - Ar-Tonelico series: Orica, Misha, Shurelia
NIPPON ICHI - Disgaea series: Etona, Prini
IDEA FACTORY - Spectral Souls series: Miu
GUST - Atelier & Mana Khemia series: Lilia, Rose, Marie

The battle system is a turn based one, very similar to that seen in Ar Tonelico 2. Each character is assigned to a button and you can launch chain attacks into combos by pressing differen’t buttons.

“The protagonist can either be a boy or girl, who woke up in a twisted world, which exists by devouring souls from other realms and worlds. You must team up with other characters and save their worlds and the souls from being devoured. You can travel to different worlds, including the Underworld (Vampire Darkstalkers and Disgaea) and Dreamworld (Ar Tonelico and Atelier / Mana Khemia).”

For all you RPG fans lets hope this game see’s a release date outside of Japan. And as far as i’m aware this is a Playstation 3 exclusive.
